Yumi Stynes expecting first child with husband Martin Bendeler, announces pregnancy news on radio

YUMI Stynes announced on radio this morning that she is expecting her first child with husband Martin Bendeler. This will be the television and radio presenter's third child.

YUMI Stynes is expecting her first child with husband Martin Bendeler.

The Mix106.5 breakfast co-host announced the exciting news on air with this morning.

"If everything goes to plan I'll be having a baby in June next year," she spilled.

The new addition will be the first for Stynes and Bendeler, who were married in October 2012.

"I'm really relieved that I don't have to keep it a secret anymore."

The 38-year-old presenter already has two daughters, Dee Dee and Anouk, with her ex-partner of eight years, musician Ben Ely from the band Regurgitator.

"I've just crossed the three-month mark, so apologies for everybody for my scatty brain and my general nausea," Stynes told co-host Sami Lukis.

The media personality took to Twitter after breaking the news this morning.

I would post a picture of the ultrasound but there's no possible way our foetus could be as good looking as @MeganKGale's !! Heh heh.

While Stynes said the couple don't know the sex of the baby yet, she said she "would love" to have a homosexual son.

"Do you think if I had a boy I wouldn't want him to be a total homo? I would love that!"
