Travis Kelce reveals what he really thinks of Sydney after joining girlfriend Taylor Swift Down Under

Travis Kelce has revealed his true thoughts on Sydney after comparing the city to Singapore where he also watched girlfriend Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour.

NFL star Travis Kelce has compared his visits to Sydney and Singapore after travelling to both countries recently to watch girlfriend Taylor Swift perform there on her Eras Tour.

And commiserations fellow Sydneysiders, because it appears Kelce favours Singapore over us.

Speaking on his New Heights podcast with his newly retired NFL star brother Jason Kelce, Travis was asked straight up which region he preferred and he skewed towards Singapore.

“Man that’s a tough sell, I loved them both,” he told his brother.

“I want to see more of Australia, I feel like I got to see a little bit more of Singapore. So I’m going to say Singapore was a little bit more interesting for sure.”

Travis Kelce has reflected on his trips to Singapore and Sydney on his podcast New Heights.

He explained that the island country just had a “unique” and “cooler” vibe, although he was quick to stress that he saw more of Singapore than he did of Sydney, which could have influenced his answer.

“But I was only in Australia for a couple of hours,” he said in the episode.

Jason agreed that Singapore appears more vibrant as he believes Sydney is just like any other city around the world, comparing it to the Florida city of Tampa in the US.

“I feel like Sydney is just like Tampa, I don’t think it’s that much different,” he told Travis, who replied, “Which is probably why I want to see more of it, I’m intrigued, I’m there. The Aussies know how to have a good time, man.”

Kelce joined girlfriend Taylor Swift in Sydney last month with the pair enjoying a date at Sydney Zoo.

As Travis mentioned, his trip to Sydney was a whirlwind one. After flying into the city on Taylor’s private jet, the footballer seemed to be on the ground for no more than two days before it was wheels up again.

During his time in Sydney, Travis enjoyed the sights from his and Taylor’s luxury hotel room at the Crown in Barangaroo before the pair took a day trip to Sydney Zoo in the city’s Western Suburbs.

He also attended Taylor’s first Sydney concert, where he was spotted fist-bumping fans before heading to the VIP tent at Accor Stadium.

Travis was back in the US the following day for prior commitments before travelling to meet Taylor again in Singapore, where he was seen dancing at her show.

“I got to see two amazing shows of the Eras tour,” he said on the podcast, adding that Singapore was “the last leg that Taylor has until she’s back at it in a couple of months.”

As of now, reports suggest Taylor is taking a much-needed break at her Beverly Hills mansion with Travis by her side.

She will resume her Eras Tour on May 9 when she kicks of the European leg in France.
