Taylor Swift fans convinced she’s married Joe Alwyn
Taylor Swift has sent her fans into a speculating frenzy with her latest post, which looks an awful lot like a wedding photo.
Taylor Swift has fans convinced she’s secretly married her partner, British actor Joe Alwyn.
The US singer announced her ninth studio album evermorewould be released this afternoon, only five months after the release of her surprise isolation album folklore.
She also uploaded a photo of herself wearing an ethereal lace off-white Zimmermann dress with a flower headpiece, leading many to believe it was a photo from her possible nuptials.
Famous for putting Easter eggs in her music, Swift wrote on Twitter that the picture is from the music video for the single willow, which drops alongside the album later today.
Swift’s fans, some of the most dedicated in the world, also referenced the name of the album evermore, which means ‘forever and always’.
Calling it now. #TaylorSwift and Joe got married. Could easily be a wedding dress and canât see her ring finger on her left hand. #evermore... forever, until the end of time, until death do us part.

The Daily Mailreports a member of Alwyn’s family was asked whether or not the pair got married, to which they said: “I’m sorry, I’m not going to say anything”.
evermore is set to drop at 3pm AEDT today, with 15 new songs.
Swift and Alwyn, 29, are believed to have met in mid-2016, but dating rumours didn’t emerge until May 2017.
They were photographed together for the first time in June sitting on a balcony in Nashville.
In October that year, Swift told fans her song Gorgeous was about Alwyn, confirming they were an item.
The couple are extremely private about their relationship, following a string of Swift’s high profile relationships with Calvin Harris, Tom Hiddleston and Jake Gyllenhaal which became regular tabloid fodder.
Swift explained to The Guardian in August 2019 why the pair didn’t wish to discuss their relationship.
“I’ve learned that if I do, people think it’s up for discussion, and our relationship isn’t up for discussion,” she said with a laugh. “If you and I were having a glass of wine right now, we’d be talking about it — but it’s just that it goes out into the world,” she said.

“That’s where the boundary is, and that’s where my life has become manageable. I really want to keep it feeling manageable.”
They had their most public outing at this year’s Golden Globes in January, though they didn’t walk the red carpet together.

Swift revealed one of her folklore songs, peace, was about Alwyn in a rare insight to Rolling Stone magazine, in which she was interviewed by Paul McCartney.
The lyrics detail her concerns she isn’t able to give Alwyn peace due to her high profile.
“I know you have done a really excellent job of this in your personal life … Carving out a human life within a public life, and how scary that can be when you do fall in love and you meet someone, especially if you’ve met someone who has a very grounded, normal way of living,” she told McCartney.
“I, oftentimes, in my anxieties, can control how I am as a person and how normal I act and rationalise things, but I cannot control if there are 20 photographers outside in the bushes and what they do and if they follow our car and if they interrupt our lives.
“I can’t control if there’s going to be a fake weird headline about us in the news tomorrow.
“But I think that in knowing him and being in the relationship I am in now, I have definitely made decisions that have made my life feel more like a real life and less like just a storyline to be commented on in tabloids.
“Whether that’s deciding where to live, who to hang out with, when to not take a picture — the idea of privacy feels so strange to try to explain, but it’s really just trying to find bits of normalcy. That’s what that song peace is talking about.
“Like, would it be enough if I could never fully achieve the normalcy that we both crave?”
