Studio 10 hosts Sarah Harris and Beau Ryan have criticised Sam Frost, saying the Home And Away star is ‘frustrating’ many with her vaccine views.

Studio 10 hosts Sarah Harris and Beau Ryan have attacked Sam Frost after her controversial anti-vax video.

Both hosts said they knew Frost personally to be a nice person but that they strongly disagreed with her views on the Covid vaccine.

The actress, 32, posted an Instagram video on the weekend trying to justify not getting vaccinated. It led to widespread backlash that resulted in her deleting her account.

Harris said that Frost had been living a privileged life during lockdown being able to still go to work and film Home And Away when many others were stuck at home.

“I quite like Sam Frost personally she is a really sweet girl and I don’t love the pile on that’s she is copping but I think it was pretty misguided perhaps of her to put this video out there when so many people have lost livelihoods, family members,” she said. “I can understand why some people are feeling frustrated.”

“She gets to film Home And Away on the gorgeous beach … and there are people who have been locked down for quite literally months on end,” Harris said.

She also slammed Frost’s claim that there are many reasons not to get vaccinated.

“No, there’s one reason,” she said. “A medical exemption.”

Ryan agreed, saying he sympathises with Frost’s battle against mental health but that she was the one who put the post out to her 500,000 followers.

“You don’t wish this [trolling] upon anyone, but she has done the video,” the former NRL star said.

Beau Ryan said people had a right to comment on Sam Frost’s public anti-vax stance.

On Sunday night, Channel 7 said it did not support Frost’s position but that she was still an employee.

“Seven strongly encourages vaccination for all our people and all Seven productions strictly adhere to the public health Covid-19 safe protocols.

“All Home And Away cast and crew also undertake Covid-19 testing three times a week in addition to other preventive measures.

“Sam Frost continues to work on Home And Away and follows the safety protocols in place,” the statement said.
