Strongest evidence so far that Shane Warne and Liz Hurley have split - he's unfollowed her on Twitter

THEY were set to love, honour and follow one another in sickness and in health - but here's the ultimate proof that Warnie and Liz Hurley have split.

THEY played out their relationship on social media blow by blow for the world to see but now comes the evidence Shane Warne and Liz Hurley's romance is well and truly over.

The pair exchanged hundreds of tweets during their rocky relationship but now Warne has stopped following Hurley on Twitter.

But he hasn't severed all ties and still follows Hurley's pet budgie, Ping Pong, on an account Hurley tweets from on the bird's behalf.

But despite Warne's latest move Hurley has continued to follow him on Twitter and still follows his teenage daughter Brooke.

Just today Warne continued to post cryptic messages on the social networking site writing, "A thought for today ... People are very quick to judge, but slow to correct themselves, maybe you are the one who needs to look in the mirror."

It is believed Warne and Hurley split last month ending their engagement which they announced in 2011.
