Sophie Monk speaks about Sam Worthington and Lara Bingle's new love: 'It really hurts'

SOPHIE MONK has spoken for the first time since ex Sam Worthington and Lara Bingle started dating, claiming "I wanna be happy for them, but it really annoys me".

SOPHIE MONK has spoken out for the first time since ex Sam Worthington and Lara Bingle started dating.

This morning on Fox and 2 Day FM radio show Weekend Breakfast with Sophie Monk and Dave Thornton, Monk claimed that although she "wasn't totally in love" with Worthington, "it really hurts" when she sees their pictures splashed across magazine covers.

"I wanna be happy for them, but it really annoys me," she said

"Did Lara steal Sam from Sophie? No. We finished it. We're just very different people" she said.

Worthington announced to rival radio show hosts Fitzy and Wippa on October 18 that he is "smitten" with new love Bingle.

"I'm very happy and I've met someone I'm very grateful for," he told the Nova 969 duo.

"She's down to Earth."

The pair are believed to have met in New York in late September after being introduced by mutual friend Natalie Imbruglia.
