‘Shut up!’: Alec Baldwin loses his temper after being cornered by pro-Palestine protesters
Alec Baldwin was caught in the middle of a protest in New York – and promptly lost his temper as people surrounded him.
Alec Baldwin found himself caught in the middle of a heated confrontation with anti-Israel protesters in New York City on Monday, local time.
The star was seen in yelling in a confronting video as members of the public crowded around him, demanding to know whether he supported Israel or the Palestinians.
Police guarded the actor as he attempted to access a locked door, but Baldwin found it impossible to ignore the remarks from demonstrators who had surrounded him.
“I support peace for Gaza,” he told them.
Baldwin’s response only made the protesters more angry. They started to bellow profanities at him, and attempted to inch closer.
“Shut your f**king mouth, you have no f**king shame,” one person shouted at the actor, with another adding, “Go f**k yourself.”
"That's a stupid question..."

A source told HuffPost that Baldwin didn’t intend to get involved in the scuffle, but was merely on his way to teach an acting class.
“He had no intention of going to the protest and was not involved in any way,” the Baldwin insider explained.
“He was approached aggressively and repeatedly. The police stepped in to avoid further confrontation so he could make his way to the class safely.”
The large group of pro-Palestine protesters began their march from Grand Central Terminal in NYC earlier on Monday, before heading to the Port Authority Bus Terminal. They later made their way to Penn Station, where they gathered inside Moynihan Train Hall, in Midtown.
Another clip posted on social media showed Baldwin in a different fiery clash, as protesters continued to question him on his views about the war.
“Because I’m in Hollywood?” he responded before pushing the man. “You ask stupid questions. Ask me a smart question.”
As he continued to be escorted out the crowd, the actor yelled: “Shut the f**k up.”
In response, another member of the public yelled back: “You did kill someone though, right? You’re a murderer!” in reference to the tragic death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
The 65-year-old actor was charged with involuntary manslaughter but the charge was dismissed in April to allow for more time to investigate new evidence. Baldwin has repeatedly said he didn’t pull the trigger, and pleaded not guilty to the charges in February.
The film’s director Joel Souza was also wounded in the accidental shooting.
