ACTOR Shia LaBeouf headbutted a man in a London bar fight, before apologising and insisting that he's "super-normal".

The Transformers star was caught on video attacking the man in what appears to be a fight over his girlfriend’s mum.

The actor then giving a rambling apology as he tries to convince fellow bar patrons that he's just a normal guy, TMZ reports.

In the video, Shia is seen yelling “What are you saying about my girl’s mom? Are you F**king kidding me bro?” before lunging and headbutting a bar patron. A woman is heard screaming ‘Shia!”.

Later, LaBeouf is heard apologising to the man, insisting that he’s just like everyone else and has his problems.

"I'm not trying to have, like, any more problems. Like, I'm really just trying to make peace," he says, before insisting: “I’m super normal”.

The fight took place at Hobgoblin pub in London on Thursday night. It is the same bar where the former child star was in a bar fight in 2012.

The actor recently announced he was retiring from public life, after he admitted plagiarising a short film. LaBeouf hired a skywriter to write his apology to the author of the graphic novel he was accused of plagiarising.
