Saving Private Ryan co-star Tom Sizemore is in critical condition after suffering a brain aneurysm in his California home.

According to reports, Sizemore is receiving care at a Los Angeles hospital, reports The U.S. Sun.

At around 2am Saturday, the 61-year-old fell unconscious, Sizemore’s manager Charles Lago told Fox News.

A yet-to-be-named person found the actor lying in his house and called 911.

Emergency crews then quickly transported Sizemore to a local hospital, where the Intensive Care Unit deemed his condition critical.

“He is in the hospital,” Lago said.

“His family is aware of the situation and are hoping for the best.”

“It is too early to know about [a] recovery situation as he is in critical condition under observation,” Sizemore’s manager continued.

The U.S. Sun continues to monitor the developing situation.

Sizemore played the notable role of Sergeant Horvath in the 1998 classic movie inspired by the events of World War II.

Saving Private Ryan won five Academy Awards.

The actor also appeared in notable films like Born on the Fourth of July, Natural Born Killers, and Heat.

Most recently, Sizemore is set to appear during the first episode of Cobra Kai’s sixth season as the character J.T. Taggart, per IMDb.

Over the years, the 61-year-old’s career in Hollywood has had some ups and downs.

Along with being arrested for driving under the influence, Sizemore has been taken in on domestic violence and possession of controlled substance charges in the past, per Daily Mail.

In 2013, the actor also released his tell-all book titled By Some Miracle I Made It Out of There.

The pages detailed an affair with actress and model Elizabeth Hurley — who he claimed seduced him during their time together on the 1992 film, Passenger 57.

However, Sizemore ended up marrying Maeve Quinian from 1996 to 1999.

Aside from the upcoming appearance on Cobra Kai, Sizemore is starring in an upcoming independent science-fiction film called Impuratus as Detective Clayton Douglas.

“It was a period piece, which was interesting, and I really like the people that were involved,” the actor told Age of the Nerd during a recent interview.

He also said he was shown an early cut of Impuratus and was allegedly “blown away” by it.

Sizemore has had a 34-year career thus far, earning his first credit in the television series Gideon Oliver.

“I’ve always loved movies,” he told the publication when reflecting on his time in the entertainment industry.

“That’s why I started doing this, and after all these years, I still adore movies.”
