Britney Spears’ fiance Sam Asghari has opened up about the couple’s miscarriage and how they are dealing with their loss.

Britney Spears’ fiance Sam Asghari has opened up about the miscarriage the couple experienced in May.

In an interview with GQ, the aspiring actor and personal trainer spoke about how the pair are dealing with their pregnancy loss.

“We’re positive about it,” Ashgari told the publication.

“It’s something that happens to a lot of people. And one beautiful thing that I heard was when the baby’s ready, it’ll come.

“So that was a beautiful thing somebody had said was, it’s a common process and the female body is just so amazing, and just the human body in general is so beautiful that it heals itself. And that when the baby’s ready it’ll be the right time.”

Spears revealed in April that she and Asghari were expecting their first child together.

The 40-year-old mother of two announced weeks later that she suffered a miscarriage.

“It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy,” the statement read.

“This is a devastating time for any parent. Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along. However we were overly excited to share the good news.”

The duo added that their love for each other is their “strength” right now.

“We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all of your support. We kindly ask for privacy during this difficult moment.”

Spears and Asghari, 28 thanked fans for their support, writing: “We are grateful for what we have in the process of expanding our beautiful family. Thank you for your support.”

Asghari also commented under the post, writing: “We will have a miracle soon.”

The singer shares two sons, 16-year-old Sean and 15-year-old Jaden, with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

During her conservatorship hearings last year, she expressed her desire to be able to start a family with Asghari.

“I want to have the real deal. I want to be able to get married and have a baby. I was told right now under the conservatorship, I’m not able to get married or have a baby,” Spears said during the explosive court hearing as she begged a judge to end the legal arrangement.

The megastar has been engaged to Asghari since September but the two have been dating since 2016.
