AUSSIE actress Ruby Rose has fans in a frenzy after suggesting on Instagram that she may be working with director Elizabeth Banks.

The 30-year-old former MTV VJ posted a photo on social media of herself and the Pitch Perfect 2 director, with the caption, “This BABE is everything ... What are we up to? @elizabethbanks two cheeky monkeys ...”

Rose’s fans were quick to speculate.

”Heard some stuff about pitch perfect 3 today, Elizabeth banks directed the 2nd one so this could mean you are in the 3rd one, if that’s true I love you even more”, one Instagram user wrote.

“@rubyrose if you’re in Pitch Perfect 3 I’m going to explode with excitement!”, another stated.

Banks also posted the same photo to her Instagram account with the caption, “This gorgeous talented spirit @rubyrose brought some needed excitement to life recently.”

Rose has recently been in New Zealand filming the shark action/thriller Meg.
