Three tell-all books that could ruin the royal family

Think Prince Harry’s tell-all tome Spare was damaging to the royal family? You ain’t seen nothing yet.

King Charles’ coronation could be derailed by new bombshells from three memoirs, royal experts have claimed.

It’s thought senior royals’ roles could be in jeopardy because of shocking allegations yet to come in three new books.

Earlier this month The Sun revealed that senior family figures are afraid to speak to Harry because what they say could “end up in paperback”.

Meanwhile, The Firm is bracing for Meghan Markle to release her own memoir.

And this morning it was reported that Virginia Giuffre, the woman who accused Prince Andrew of sexual abuse, could release a memoir just before the King is crowned. The Duke of York last year paid out more than $5 million to settle the civil rape claim and she signed a one-year gag clause.

However, that is up in March – meaning she can once again speak out about the allegations.

Royal biographer Angela Levin believes “all of this may come to a head just before the coronation”.

She told The Sun: “It’s a huge burden and it’s such a shame.

“It’s the first coronation since 1953 and it just looks as though people are doing this deliberately just to spoil it.

“It’s thought Virginia will mainly speak about what happened to her with Epstein.

“However, Epstein and Andrew are so linked at this stage that regardless, the Duke’s reputation will be further damaged.

“I think Charles must be terribly upset. He has waited for this moment all of his life and then you have people bringing out books to ruin it.”

Meanwhile, Phil Dampier believes the books mean the end of a royal career for Harry and Andrew.

He told The Sun: “King Charles is being hit by books coming from all sides – Harry, Meghan and Virginia.

“Harry is the one the most focus is on. He has basically got a club behind his back with the threat of this paperback.

“It must be a worry for the royals that he’s got that hanging over them.

“Then the timing couldn’t be worse for Virginia’s book. Charles could have definitely done without this.

“But with Camilla by his side they will get through this and it’s very lucky that the public seems to still be behind them.

“It’s delusional to think Andrew and Harry are going to be able to relaunch their careers.

“Harry’s days are over and Andrew’s days are over.”

It comes after The Sun revealed Andrew has amassed a $17 million war chest to launch a legal case against Ms Giuffre.

The Duke will claim he never met her and that a photo of them was faked.

He has been given fresh hope after Ms Giuffre withdrew sex abuse allegations against US lawyer Alan Dershowitz, admitting she “may have made a mistake”.
