Thomas Markle Senior is ‘seething’ over negative reports about Meghan

The Duchess of Sussex’s estranged dad is said to be fuming over constant sniping directed at his pregnant daughter, who is facing huge pressures.

MEGHAN Markle’s dad has reportedly blamed “snobs” for a spate of personal attacks on his daughter.

Thomas Markle is said to be “seething with anger” at what he claimed was “relentless criticism every time she says or does anything”, reports The Sun.

The Daily Express reports how the protective dad is appalled at the negativity around Meghan who is beginning her married life, official royal duties and becoming a mum for the first time.

A friend of the 74-year-old Mr Markle, who has been estranged from his daughter since her wedding to Prince Harry, said he told him: “How could they be so cruel and heartless?

“It hurts me deeply that one of the sweetest young women anyone could hope to meet is being trashed and bashed at every turn by a British establishment hell-bent on belittling her.

“All this is happening when she’s expecting her first child.”

As reported, sources claimed the Duchess of Cambridge told Meghan not to berate members of her team at Kensington Palace.

Rumours of a rift between the duchesses swirled after royal sources revealed emotional Kate, 36, ended up weeping over her demands for Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress, it emerged.

Royal aides did not deny the incident had taken place, amid claims that the duchesses are “very ­different people”.
