THE Queen is clearly unhappy about an apparent feud between Prince William and Prince Harry, a royal author claims, but she will not interfere in the dispute.

Royal editor Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, said the Queen likes to stay out of royal family rows, The Sun reports.

Ms Seward told Fabulous magazine: “Her Majesty does not care for the alleged feuding among her grandchildren William and Harry, that would make her very sad. But she would never interfere with their lives.”

It is thought that the alleged feud between them started earlier this year after much speculation that their wives, the Duchess of Sussex and Cambridge, were on bad terms with each other.

For months, the royal family has been plagued by rumours of a rift between the brothers, which was further fuelled by the split of their joint charity this month.

Ms Seward said that in the midst of the rumours of a feud, the Queen prefers to seek the company of her “down to earth” granddaughter Zara Tindall and her husband Mike.

“They are certainly light relief. She can be herself around them.”

Prince William and Prince Harry first established the Royal Foundation in 2009 before Kate Middleton joined two years later, shortly after the engagement was announced.

Over the years, the charity has focused on wildlife conservation and mental health as well as supporting the armed forces and young people.

A charity insider told The Mirror: “At the start of last year, the plan was that all four would work together and I really believed in them as the power of four.”

In February 2018, the Fab Four then attended the Royal Foundation forum together for what was the first and only time.

Rumours of a rift between the two couples have been circulating over the past few months, following the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s move to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.

Before they welcomed baby Archie earlier this year, Harry and Meghan left their home within the Kensington Palace estate where they were living in close proximity to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

However, the two brothers reportedly fell out after Prince William’s concerns over the then Meghan Markle before she married Harry reportedly “went down quite badly” with his brother.

Speaking to Fox News, royal author Katie Nicholl said: “William was concerned about how quickly the relationship had moved and wanted to make sure that Harry was making the right decision.”

Last November, The Sun exclusively revealed that Meghan left Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge in tears over her strict demands for Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress.

Meanwhile, one of Prince Harry’s former friends Lizzie Cundy claimed earlier this year that Meghan has pushed Prince Harry’s friends out since their move to Frogmore Cottage.
