Meghan Markle’s former Suits co-star, Patrick J. Adams, has sparked a fan frenzy with a very cryptic post featuring the show’s cast.

Meghan Markle’s Suits co-star has shared a number of unseen photos from their time together on set, sparking rumours of a new season.

Patrick J. Adams, who starred as Meghan’s on-screen lover, posted a number of behind-the-scenes shots of Prince Harry’s wife with the Suits cast, reports The Sun.

The snaps included the former actress lying seductively on the set floor and lounging on a sofa in a pair of stilettos – and Patrick added he “misses his friends”.

Patrick also included a number of black-and-white portrait-style shots of the rest of the cast, including Meghan’s friend and co-star Sarah Rafferty, who starred as legal secretary Donna.

Meghan played paralegal Rachel Zane on Suits for seven seasons, but left in 2017 after she started dating Prince Harry.

Fans have been quick to ask Patrick, who played Mike Ross, if the photos are a “hint” that Suits could return, after being cancelled after its ninth season in 2019.

One person wrote: “Don’t give us hopes. Is Suits coming back?”

Another added: “it can’t be a random throwback right? Surely has to be a Suits reunion or something?”

A third chimed in: “I’m hoping you’re dropping massive hints here.”

Others also expressed their excitement of the possibility of Meghan returning to acting, with one writing: “We need a Suits movie! And Meghan better be in it too.”

The Duchess of Sussex’s former showbiz agent, Gina Nelthorpe-Cowne, told the Daily Mail that she thought Meghan would return to her former career.

She told the Mail: “I’m sure she’ll make a movie again … I really do think that.”

She reportedly compared Meghan’s situation with actress Grace Kelly’s, who married Prince Rainier of Monaco.

Kelly’s return to film caused serious strife with her husband, who apparently banned her from accepting the leading role in Alfred Hitchcock’s 1964 film Marnie among others.

But Gina said: “If Meghan wants to make a movie again, she will.”

Calling Meghan a “great actress” Gina said any role would be “serious”.

Meghan worked for over 15 years in the acting industry before meeting Prince Harry, including appearing in Horrible Bosses, Remember Me and 90210.

In 2020, she narrated a Disney+ documentary Elephants, in her first post-Megxit media project after her husband was filmed suggesting her for a job at the Lion King premiere.

Creator Aaron Korsh was asked by The Hollywood Reporter in August if a Suits revival was on the cards and he said he would “consider” it if he had an idea and “the cast was into it:”

However, he added on X, formerly known as Twitter: “Let me say right off that there is no #Suits reboot or anything in the works.”

Meghan invited the Suits cast to celebrate her royal wedding in 2019 at Windsor Castle, and they shared behind-the-scenes pictures from the lavish reception.

Meanwhile, Sarah made the guestlist for Meghan’s lavish baby shower in New York, and described it as “very exciting” to ET.

Meghan’s final episode aired in April 2019, just a month before the royal wedding.

The legal drama revolved around Mike gaining a position at a swanky lawyer’s office in New York City.

Throughout the show, Mike and Rachel became romantically involved and then went on to marry and set up their own legal firm in Seattle.

Patrick, who is married to Pretty Little Liars star Troian Bellisario, welcomed his first daughter, Aurora, in 2018 and they had a second daughter, Elliot, in 2021.

He joked that he would be happy for his kids to have a playdate with Meghan and Harry’s kids, Archie, four, and Lilibet, two.

The actor said: “Maybe at her house, it’s a little bigger.

“We’ve shared exactly zero tips with her, because I don’t think Meghan needs any tips about anything.”

Patrick previously branded the royal family “shameless” and said their treatment of the Duchess of Sussex was “obscene” in an extraordinary rant.

The actor said Meghan was “enthusiastic, kind, cooperative, giving, joyful and supportive” when they were working together on Suits.

Speaking of him leaving Suits, Patrick said: “With Meghan, a lot went unsaid.

“Meghan has this whole crazy part of her life that’s just beginning now.

“In some ways, Meghan and I were the closest because we were the youngest people in the cast and both came in with the least experience.

“We grew up together over the course of the show.”
