Russell Brand recalls kiss with royal bride to be Meghan Markle

PRINCE Harry isn’t the only handsome Brit Meghan Markle has locked lips with.

RUSSELL Brand has boasted about kissing Meghan Markle during an episode of UK chat show Loose Women.

He revealed he locked lips with the royal bride-to-be back in 2009 when filming Get Him To The Greek.

It came up when the show’s host Andrea McLean asked if the rumours about him kissing Meghan were true.

He replied: “As a matter of fact it is,” causing the audience to cheer and wolf whistle.

But Russell quickly clarified what had really happened, he explained: “Before you go off, she was in a film I was in, Get Him to the Greek.

“She wasn’t married to a royal, so I didn’t take any notice.

“I wasn’t paying attention, I don’t remember because I was still out of out.

“I think I planted one on her, scripted in the scene …”

The panel couldn’t stop laughing at his confession.

Earlier in the show, Russell opened up about his mum Barbara and gave his fans an update about her health after she was involved in a hit and run car crash.

Russell explained: “She had a broken back, broken neck, eight ribs ...

“But she’s making a remarkable recovery due to her spirit and the incredible National Health Service and the people that work there do such phenomenal work.

“It’s unbelievable.”
