THE serious part of their big day over, Harry and Meghan have moved on to the first of two parties, with the prince reportedly whispering a funny little message in his bride’s ear.

Royal Wedding: Prince Harry and Meghan exchange vows

MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry are now officially married.

The ceremony has mixed royal protocol with a decidedly unusual moment, with the couple struggling to keep a straight face during an extraordinarily passionate sermon by the Most Reverend Bishop Michael Curry, from Chicago.

Curry’s speech was the one odd note in an otherwise pitch-perfect ceremony.

The royal couple kissed as they emerged from the chapel, before heading off around the streets of Windsor in a carriage.

A lip reader engaged by The UK Telegraph reported that as the carriage procession got underway, Harry whispered to Meghan: “I’m ready for a drink now”.
