Markle’s dad snapped going on Macca’s, KFC runs after heart attack

MEGHAN Markle’s father suffered a heart attack six days ago — and was photographed hitting up McDonalds and KFC just two days later.

MEGHAN Markle’s father Thomas was photographed by paparazzi ordering meals from fast food outlets KFC and McDonald’s just two days after suffering what he says was a heart attack.

The candid pictures emerged today after Markle decided to pull out of his daughter’s wedding, meaning he will no longer walk her down the aisle.

The last-minute decision to pull out was partly because of the fallout from reports he staged paparazzi photos of himself, according to TMZ, and also because he claims to have suffered a heart attack six days ago.

Markle, 73, told TMZ on May 14 that he had suffered a heart attack six days prior, about May 7 or 8. However, the Daily Mail reports via media stationed outside Markle’s home that he stayed home on those days and was not seen leaving or visiting a hospital at any time.

Paparazzi pictures show him two days after the alleged health scare, buying large meals from both McDonald’s and KFC.

About 4.30pm last Thursday, Markle was spotted buying “two Happy Meals and a chocolate milkshake covered with whipped cream” from McDonald’s.

A few hours later, about 7.40pm, Markle picked up KFC near the Mexican border.

British media reports Meghan is “distraught” over her father’s decision to skip her wedding and is pleading with him to reconsider.

However, the elder Markle appears to be suffering further health problems, with TMZ reporting he’s experiencing “serious chest pains” that have been triggered by the “emotional upset” of his oldest daughter Samantha Grant speaking out against Meghan in the media.

“I’ve been popping Valium for the pain, especially when I hear about my oldest daughter,” he said to TMZ.

Kensington Palace issued a statement this morning saying: “This is a deeply personal moment for Ms Markle in the days before her wedding. She and Prince Harry ask again for understanding and respect to be extended to Mr Markle in this difficult situation.”

British media reports her mother, Doria Ragland, is now the leading candidate to walk her daughter down the aisle.
