To celebrate Princess Charlotte’s seventh birthday, the world has been gifted new portraits taken by her mum Kate.
Princess Charlotte beams among the bluebells in three new snaps to mark her seventh birthday.
She bears a striking resemblance to her mum Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, who took the portrait at the weekend at their home in Norfolk, The Sun reports.
With her blonde locks neatly brushed and a big grin, Charlotte brings some much-needed joy to the divided Royal Family.
Kate, 40, releases new pictures of her children on each of their birthdays.
The Sun royal photographer Arthur Edwards said: “Charlotte is growing up so fast. She looks so relaxed and happy among the bluebells.
“She’s the spitting image of her mum.
“Her long hair has been done beautifully and that smile is unmistakeable.”
“Catherine’s really got the knack for capturing her children at their very best,” Mr Edwards said.
“Her photography skills get better every year, and including the new family pet makes it so special.
“Seeing these portraits has really brought a smile to my lips, as it will the entire country.
“This is the future of the Royal Family.”
A short statement from Kensington Palace said: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to share three new photographs of Princess Charlotte ahead of her seventh birthday.”
