Prince Harry ‘worried’ about media attention on Kate Middleton
Harry is believed to be concerned about the attention being focused on his sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, despite their rift.
Prince Harry is reportedly worried about the press surrounding his sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, who has been the target of online conspiracy theorists’ in recent days.
An insider told Page Six the royal - who famously fled to California from Buckingham Palace in 2020 - has been “distracted” with concern by the headlines surrounding the Princess of Wales, and her mysterious retreat from public life.
But the source also told the publication that Harry thinks “any hint of scandal is untrue.”
The Prince has previously detailed his own painful and rocky history with the press, largely focused around his mother’s years in the spotlight.
Kate — who had not been seen since December until popping up at a farm stand this week — has been the subject of speculation after having what Kensington Palace said was “planned abdominal surgery” in January.
Harry’s relationship with Prince William has been strained and was detailed in his January 2022 book, Spare.
Meanwhile, Harry was still spotted hitting the slopes in ritzy Aspen, Colorado, last week.
The Duke of Sussex was seen getting breakfast at Bonnie’s, a popular lodge located on Aspen Mountain last week.
His wife Meghan Markle, who just launched lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard, was not with him, according to Page Six.
According to a report by Daily Mail, Harry was in town with Kris Jenner’s boyfriend Corey Gamble, as well as Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe and her husband, Texas oil heir Michael Herd. Harry was also spotted hat shopping at celeb hotspot Kemo Sabe, a source told Page Six.
Far from Aspen, rumours went into overdrive last week over a manipulated photo of Kate and her three children.
Several of her senior staffers had also reportedly not been in contact with her amid her private recovery from surgery.
Over the weekend, Kate was seen in a rare outing with Prince William at a farm stand, following her recent photogate scandal.
Kensington Palace originally stated Kate would resume public duties after Easter.
