Prince Harry’s touching moment at airport after leaving Balmoral Castle
Prince Harry has been spotted leaving Balmoral Castle after joining his family to mourn the death of the Queen.
Prince Harry was seen putting his arm around an airport worker after she gave him her condolences as he boarded a plane out of Scotland.
He was seen boarding the plane this evening after tragically arriving too late to say goodbye to the Queen.
The Duke of Sussex, who is expected to stay in the UK until his grandmother’s funeral, had last night dashed to Scotland alone after doctors shared the tragic news the Queen had hours to live.
Harry, 37, had last night arrived at Balmoral the previous day- an hour and a half after Buckingham Palace announced his grandmother the Queen has passed away.
The duke, who travelled to Scotland while wife Meghan Markle remained in Windsor, was seen with his hand on his head as he drove to join the Royal Family as the nation went into mourning.
This morning, Harry was seen leaving Balmoral Castle at 8.20am in a black Range Rover - about 12 hours after he arrived.
He was driven to Aberdeen Airport where he was seen being comforted by an airport staffer as he boarded a British Airways plane.
Harry is understood to be the first member of the Royal family to leave the castle after last night’s devastating news.
The Sussexes unofficial spokesperson Omid Scobie confirmed Harry was heading back to England and said the Duke: “Will, of course, remain in the UK during this time.”
It is not known if Meghan will stay in Britain throughout the UK’s two-week mourning period.

Prince Andrew, Prince William, Prince Edward and his wife Sophie flew to Aberdeen by private jet yesterday.
Tragically they did not make it to the royal estate before Her Majesty’s passing, Mail Online reports.
Meanwhile Prince Harry arrived at 8pm, after the heart-breaking news of the 96-year-old’s death was announced by the Palace to the public.
Earlier reports suggested he and the Duchess of Sussex were on the way to the Queen’s Scottish bolthole together.
But sources later said Meghan would stay in London, with Prince Harry travelling alone.
Kate Middleton also stayed down south with George, Charlotte and Louis for their first day at school, a spokesman has confirmed.
The Queen’s death marked an end to her historic reign and sparked an outpouring of grief around the world.
In a sombre statement, Buckingham Palace confirmed Her Majesty Elizabeth II, the longest-serving monarch in British history, had passed away - making her son, Charles, King.
Charles, now King Charles III, was with his sister Princess Anne at their mother’s bedside when the monarch passed away yesterday evening.
King Charles and Anne were in Scotland on previous planned engagements.
His helicopter was also seen landing on the grounds of Balmoral in the morning.
Camilla also travelled to the castle after cancelling an event at hospital Maggie’s in Airdrie, Lanarkshire.

Thousands of Brits took to the streets to pay their respects to the monarch, leaving flowers and gathering to remember her.
A tearful crowd broke into God Save the King outside Buckingham Palace yesterday when news of the death was announced.
Last night Charles, who will now be known as King Charles III, gave a sombre statement as he led the nation in mourning.
The new King said: “The death of my beloved mother, Her Majesty The Queen, is a moment of the greatest sadness for me and all members of my family.
“We mourn profoundly the passing of a cherished sovereign and a much-loved mother. I know her loss will be deeply felt throughout the country, the Realms and the Commonwealth, and by countless people around the world.
“During this period of mourning and change, my family and I will be comforted and sustained by our knowledge of the respect and deep affection in which the Queen was so widely held.”
