Prince Harry gushes over daughter Lilibet Diana at surprise charity appearance in the UK

The Duke of Sussex has made his first appearance since arriving in the UK, where he gave details about baby Lilibet alongside Ed Sheeran.

Prince Harry has made his debut appearance since arriving in the UK last week, where he gushed over his baby girl Lilibet Diana.

The 36-year-old Duke of Sussex was a surprise guest at the WellChild Awards in London after serving his five-day quarantine stint at Frogmore Cottage following his arrival from the US.

According to Hello Magazine, Harry was heard talking to fellow A-list guest Ed Sheeran, where he said “two (children) is definitely a juggle.”

He reportedly added: “We’ve been lucky so far, she’s (Lilibet) very chilled and seems happy to just sit there while Archie is running around like crazy.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, 39, welcomed Lilibet Diana in June, after having their first child, son Archie, in May 2019.

Harry arrived in the UK solo on Friday ahead of tomorrow’s statue unveiling of his mother Princess Diana, on what would have been her 60th birthday.

He is set to reunite with his brother Prince William at the service amid ongoing reports of tension between the pair.

But Harry appeared in high spirits at the Wellchild event in Kew Gardens today, where he was seen chatting to fellow guests as they gathered to honour some of the UK’s seriously ill children and those who dedicate their lives to supporting them.

The event was initially scheduled for September however organisers changed the date so Harry could attend, with the royal being a patron of the organisation since 2007.

Harry was pictured arriving at Heathrow Airport on Friday before being driven to Frogmore Cottage, his marital home with Meghan before they moved to California early last year.

His grandmother the Queen was spotted driving to the residence at the weekend.

“It is quite something. No sooner had Harry been driven from Heathrow to Frogmore Cottage the Queen was on her way down,” a source told The Sun.

“I’m sure they would have plenty to talk about. The Queen would obviously want to see her grandson after everything that has gone on and could take this opportunity to act as the peacemaker.”

It’s the first time Harry has returned to Britain since criticising the royal family during his bombshell AppleTV+ documentary The Me You Can’t See, in which he accused them of “neglect”.

He also blasted his father Prince Charles, claiming he moved his family to the US to “break the cycle of pain”.

Harry had earlier attended Prince Philip’s funeral in April, where he reunited with his family for the first time in more than a year, while Meghan stayed home in the US as she prepared to give birth to their second child.
