Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s loved-up appearance at relative’s wedding
THE royal newlyweds were all smiles as they celebrated with their family at Diana’s niece’s wedding in the English countryside.
IT DOESN’T matter where they go, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are inevitably going to be the centre of attention — even at someone else’s wedding.
The glamorous newlyweds were seen smiling and laughing as they arrived to watch Harry’s cousin Celia McCorquodale tie the knot with George Woodhouse in Lincolnshire over the weekend, just four weeks after their own very high-profile nuptials.
Celia is the younger daughter of Diana’s sister, Lady Sarah McCorquodale.
The Duchess of Sussex wore a long-sleeved blue-and-white paisley Oscar de la Renta dress - which reportedly retails for $7379 - while her hair was pulled back in its trademark low messy bun.
Her new husband colour-coordinated with a pastel blue tie and cream vest underneath his dapper grey morning suit.
At one point, Meghan nearly took a tumble as she walked alongside Harry outside the church, but managed to quickly steady herself.
Celia, 29, attended Harry and Meghan’s wedding at St George’s Chapel last month, and returned the favour by inviting the couple to her country wedding at St Andrew and St Mary’s Church in Stoke Rochford.
Diana’s niece chose to wear the Spencer tiara for her big day, just as her famous aunt did when she married Prince Charles in 1981. The family heirloom dates back to the 18th century, and is now owned by Diana’s brother, Earl Spencer.
Celia’s wedding marked one of the first joint appearances by Harry and Meghan since their return from a top-secret honeymoon.
New details emerged last week of their private getaway in East Africa, where the royal newlyweds visited more than two countries.
A source revealed to E! News that their activities ranged from going out on safaris and other outdoor adventures, to lying in the sun.
“It was the perfect break and blend of their passions,” the source explained.
“Restorative and the perfect holiday before starting a very busy second half of 2018.”
