Harry and Meghan have capped off a swanky summit appearance in Miami with an intimate dinner with a celebrity power couple.

How will Prince Harry and Meghan Markle fund their new life?

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are already aligning themselves with American royalty – they bonded with Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez at JPMorgan’s Miami billionaires’ summit, according to Page Six.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex dined with the Superbowl half-time queen and her former Yankee fiance Rodriguez on Thursday night at Habitat, a restaurant at the 1 Hotel South Beach.

The couple made their first public appearance since quitting the British royal family at the swanky summit in Miami, attended by a host of high rollers including Patriots owner Bob Kraft and billionaire philanthropist Robert Frederick Smith.

The event included a speech to the wealthy crowd from Harry, where he discussed their bombshell decision to leave the UK, plus a VIP dinner.

One witness told Page Six: “Harry and Meghan got on really well with Jennifer and Alex and spent some time chatting with them over dinner. J.Lo was overheard inviting the couple and their baby Archie to her and Alex’s house in Miami to spend time with them and their kids.”

Harry and Meghan are said to have been paid around $US500,000 ($A750,000) plus expenses for the gig. The Prince spoke openly to the wealthy crowd about Megxit and discussed seeing a therapist to deal with ongoing childhood trauma over the death of his mother, Princess Diana.

He also talked about their struggle under the pressure of the British media glare and said he and Meghan hoped for more privacy and normalcy as they started their new lives in North America, sources told Page Six.

The Sussexes were flown on the JPMorgan private jet from Vancouver to Palm Beach, where they’re said to have stayed at the home of Meghan’s longtime friend, tennis legend Serena Williams.

After their Miami appearance, rumours spread they were set to hit Hollywood this weekend for the Oscars and possibly appear on stage as presenters for either Best Film or Documentary.

The town is also buzzing that the royal couple has been house hunting in LA, while agents are lining up to sign them for acting, speaking and appearance gigs, plus books and documentary projects.
