Prince Andrew spotted delivering care packages during coronavirus pandemic
Prince Andrew has been spotted for the first time in months keeping busy during the coronavirus lockdown after stepping down from his royal duties.
Prince Andrew has been spotted in public for the first time in months delivering care packages to a hospice in Windsor amid the coronavirus crisis.
The Duke of York, 60, has kept a low profile since stepping down from his royal duties in November, when he faced growing anger over his ties to US convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
He was last seen attending a church service near Sandringham with the Queen in January.
But a series of photos posted on Instagram showed the Duke was keeping busy over the Easter long weekend, putting together care packages with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson for a hospice while in lockdown.
The photos, posted online by the Duchess of York’s assistant Antonia Marshall, showed Prince Andrew helping pack bright pink bags with cupcakes at what appeared to be his home in Windsor, Berkshire.
Another snap showed him personally delivering the bags to the hospice.

“Sarah Ferguson and the Duke of York packing all the care packages for Thames Hospice in Windsor today,” Ms Marshall wrote.
“The York family are a wonderful and steadfast unit and through this crisis, are continuously helping others. So proud of them all,” she added.
Prince Andrew stood down from his royal duties following his trainwreck interview on BBC Newsnightin which he failed to adequately explain his friendship with Epstein. Critics also accused him of showing little empathy for the late billionaire financier’s victims.

Epstein was facing child sex trafficking charges prior to his prison suicide death on August 10. He was also accused of procuring young girls for his friends, including Prince Andrew, who has vehemently denied the allegations.
Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre has said she had sex with Prince Andrew three times at Epstein’s request, including once in London in 2001 at the home of Epstein’s girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell.
The Duke and Ms Maxwell have both denied any knowledge that Epstein was sexually abusing teenage girls.
