Piers Morgan says Prince Harry and Meghan Markle should ‘get on their knees’ and ‘apologise’
Piers Morgan has blasted Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, telling the royal couple to “plunge to their knees” and “apologise”.
Piers Morgan has blasted Prince Harry and Meghan Markle over their recent criticism of their families.
During his show Piers Morgan Uncensored, available to stream on Flash, the Sky News Australia host ranted that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex should “plunge to their knees” and “apologise” to the monarchy and the Suits actress’ family.
“This treacherous little toad has forgotten that he is supposed to turn into a Prince after being kissed by a spoiled Princess, not the other way around,” the broadcaster said.
“Before we even think about whether Harry and Meghan should be allowed anywhere near the coronation, and for me, they absolutely should not be considered for an invitation, one thing would need to happen.
“They’d have to go on national television., plunge to their knees and issue a global apology to their families on both sides who they so mercilessly trashed.”

The former Good Morning Britain presenter’s comments come as Harry said he wanted the royals to apologise to his wife.
“Now you could argue that some of the stuff I’ve put in there, well, they will never forgive me anyway,” he told UK’s The Telegraph.
“But the way I see it is, I’m willing to forgive you for everything you’ve done, and I wish you’d actually sat down with me, properly, and instead of saying I’m delusional and paranoid, actually sit down and have a proper conversation about this, because what I’d really like is some accountability. And an apology to my wife.”
This is not the first time Morgan has ripped into Harry’s comments about his family.
Last week, the outspoken journalist furiously reacted to the Duke’s book Spare, saying the royal had “blown it” with his family.
During his show, the TV host slammed the Prince for spilling secrets about his family.
“There is no doubt that this is highly entertaining in parts, it’s riveting, it’s incredibly intrusive. You can’t believe what you are reading,” Morgan said.
“This will be a number one bestseller, good luck to him. He’ll make millions but at what cost? He’s blown it with his entire family. There’s no amount of money in the world that would make me do this to my family.”
Morgan then said there was “one thing” to do with Harry’s memoir.
“Rather than buy it and feather his greedy little nest, do what I’m going to do right now,” he said. “Take Spare and chuck it where it belongs, in the bin.”
Morgan held up his copy of the book and threw it into the bin.
Harry was paid an estimated $US40 million ($A57 million) for a four-book deal and his first memoir has delved into private behind-the-scenes conversations with his family.
Readers were stunned by his accounts of a fight with Prince William in his kitchen and private conversations with his elder sibling and father.
The Prince documents clashing with William over the Sussexes’ Oprah Winfrey interview and describes how his father begged his sons “please, boys, don’t make my final years a misery”.
Last week, Harry claimed that he wants “reconciliation” talks with his family.
He told ITV’s Tom Bradby: “I would like to get my father back, I would like to have my brother back.”
But he said he would now only speak to them again if it remained private.
