Photos show Prince Harry and Meghan Markle miss Queen’s Jubilee events
While the key royal family members were in attendance for the Queen’s Jubilee events this week, Harry and Meghan kept their appearances to a minimum.
While Prince Harry and Meghan, along with their two children, Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1, made the long haul flight from their California home to London to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, royal fans didn’t actually get too many glimpses of the now stateside couple at all.
Prince Harry in years past was often positioned alongside his father Charles and brother William at key royal events – this year, however, he only attended two events and hasn’t been photographed with his brother or father during this trip at all.
Here we take a look back at all the best royal moments of the Queen’s Jubilee, and the family moments Harry and Meghan seemingly missed out on.
After proving himself to be quite the scene stealer, Prince Louis hopped onto grandfather Prince Charles’ lap for a cuddle during the Queen’s Platinum Pageant.
Prince William, Kate Middleton and kids George, Charlotte and Louis joined the Queen for her surprise appearance on the end of her Platinum Jubilee concert on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

One of their two official outings was for the National Service of Thanksgiving to the Queen at St Paul’s Cathedral, where they were seated among the crowd of family members and officials across the aisle from Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Harry and Meghan have reportedly since jetted back to Los Angeles with children Archie and Lilibet – who were also missing from public celebrations completely.
Here, their cousins Mia Tindall, Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte were spotted sharing snacks during the Queen’s Platinum Pageant.
At 2018’s Trooping the Colour parade, Meghan and Harry were pictured standing beside the Queen, Prince Charles and Prince William and family.
Going further back in time, Prince Harry (clearly the Prince Louis of his time) was photographed sticking his tongue out while in mother Princess Diana’s arms during the 1988 Trooping the Colour parade.
Taking a look back at Prince Louis’ theatrical appearances this week, it’s clear to see cheekiness runs in the family.
