‘No racism whatsoever’: Piers Morgan clashes with guest over Meghan Markle
Piers Morgan clashed with a guest on his TV show as the broadcaster claimed Meghan Markle received “no racism” from the UK press.
Piers Morgan locked horns with a guest as he claimed Meghan Markle received “no racism” from the UK press before marrying Prince Harry.
During Thursday’s episode of Piers Morgan Uncensored, available to stream on Flash, the broadcaster discussed the allegations of racist bullying with lawyer Paula Rhone-Adrien.
“There was no racism whatsoever towards Meghan Markle before that wedding from the press in this country. None. Nada. Zero,” Morgan said.
His guest clapped back, telling him he “did not know that” as the debate heated up.
“You can’t say that, because you don’t know what existed for her and what she’s saying and what Harry is saying, because I notice that we’re focusing on Meghan, but Harry is part of this as well,” Ms Rhone-Adrien fumed.

The outspoken journalist then claimed Harry and Meghan were “both as bad as each other”, accusing them of lying in an angry rant.
Morgan highlighted the Sussexes’ infamous interview with Oprah Winfrey last year.
During their bombshell tell-all, the couple alleged a member of the Royal Family had concerns over their son Archie’s skin colour.
After the interview aired, the commentator said he did not believe the Duchess’ claims.
“If all they did was tell the truth, that’s one thing,” he added.
“But 17 statements from the Oprah interview alone have proven to be untrue, we still don’t know who this supposed Royal was who raised concern over their child’s skin colour.”
Morgan notoriously left his job on the ITV show Good Morning Britain after he clashed with co-host Alex Beresford over Meghan’s claims.

The TV presenter recently slammed Winfrey after she hoped the Royal Family could heal their rift following Queen Elizabeth II’s death.
Speaking with Gayle King on CBS, the talk show host said she never set out to have a “bombshell interview” with the Sussexes’.
Not convinced by Winfrey’s comments, Morgan took to Twitter to criticise her.
“Great to see Oprah Winfrey call for healing of massive rifts in the Royal Family – that she enabled,” he fumed.
