Meghan releases pics of her and Harry’s rarely-seen daughter Lilibet in honour of her birthday
In honour of her birthday, Meghan’s given fans their first proper look at her and Harry’s daughter, Lilibet, in years.
Happy birthday, Princess Lilibet!
Meghan rang in her and Prince Harry’s daughter’s fourth year with a touching tribute via Instagram on Wednesday, reports Page Six.
“Happy birthday to our beautiful girl!” she captioned a black-and-white snap of them cuddled up on a boat — as well as a never-before-seen delivery room photo.
“Four years ago today she came into our lives — and each day is brighter and better because of it,” Meghan continued. “Thanks to all of those sending love and celebrating her special day!”
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, and her husband, Prince Harry, welcomed their baby girl in June 2021.
Her first name, notably, was chosen to pay homage to her great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II as Lilibet was the late monarch’s childhood nickname.
Lilibet’s middle moniker is Diana, honouring Harry’s mother, who died in 1997 when he was 12.
Harry’s daughter was born two years after her big brother Prince Archie’s May 2019 arrival.
Harry and Meghan’s eldest child celebrated his 6th birthday last month.
“Our son. Our sun,” the Suits alum wrote via Instagram in May. “Happy 6th birthday to Archie! Thank you for all of the love, prayers, and warm wishes for our sweet boy.”
She concluded, “He’s six! Where did the time go? And for all of you who came to celebrate with us at his party last weekend, thank you for making his birthday so incredibly special.”
On her Confessions of a Female Founder podcast on Tuesday, Meghan marvelled over her son’s age.
“Where did the time go?” she asked listeners. “I remember carrying him out there. … You look up and everything is in constant fluid motion.”
While Meghan did not divulge any details about his birthday bash, the former actress said Archie’s celebration with his pals took place the day before she recorded the episode.
Meghan and Harry have lived with their little ones in a $14 million Montecito, Calif., mansion since 2020.
The couple tied the knot in May 2018, with Meghan gushing last month about the “lifetime of stories” they have created in their seven years of marriage.
