Meghan Markle’s confession as she enjoys night out without Prince Harry

Meghan Markle enjoyed a night out without Prince Harry at a glitzy event in LA, where she made a cryptic comment about her future.

How much money do Meghan and Harry really have?

Meghan Markle couldn’t hide her smile during her latest red carpet appearance on Thursday night as she teased fans that she had some exciting work ahead.

The Duchess of Sussex, 42, glowed as she arrived at last night’s Variety’s Power of Women event in LA, where she gave a rare interview on the red carpet.

Markle posed for photographers on the evening, wearing a camel, one-shoulder, floor-length dress.

In a clip doing the rounds on X, the duchess can be seen mouthing “thank you” as compliments were shouted at her.

When Entertainment Tonight asked Meghan if it was “Mum’s night out”, the mother-of-two laughed and said: “Exactly.”

Speaking to reporters, the duchess said she was in the process of making some “exciting” plans.

When she was asked what the driving force behind her ventures were, the duchess responded: “Things that make people feel … I was going to say things that make people feel good, but it’s more than that. Things that make people feel something, right? And a sense of community.

“But we have so many exciting things on the slate, I can’t wait until we can announce them. I’m just really proud of what we’re creating.”

Markle also spoke to Variety about the ongoing success of her former series, Suits, in which she starred as paralegal Rachel Zane for seven seasons until 2017.

While it first debuted in 2011, Suits has gained a resurgence of viewers on Netflix, where it recently crossed 45 billion minutes streams.

“Isn’t that wild?” said Markle on the red carpet.

“It was great to work on, such a great cast and crew. We had a really fun time. I was on it for seven seasons, so quite a bit. But it’s hard to find a show you can binge-watch that many episodes of these days, so that could have something to do with it. But good shows are everlasting.”

Markle’s appearance came the day after shock new claims emerged in biographer Omid Scobie’s new book, Endgame.

For years many hoped that Harry and William could eventually reconcile and become as close as they once were, however Mr Scobie appears to have dashed those hopes once and for all.

In an excerpt shared with People, Mr Scobie claims in the book that William “doesn’t want to know” his younger brother, and believes that he has been “brainwashed by an army of therapists”.

“I was talking to a source quite early on in the process, and they called Harry a ‘defector’ and said that was William’s view,” he says in the book.

“These were two men who once upon a time were firmly aligned in their outlook. One of them had to move on to also protect the crown. They will never see eye-to-eye at this point. They’re on completely opposite sides … that won’t change.”

Mr Scobie went on to share that Harry is “ready to move past” things, if only William, who still “refuses to talk with him,” would just let it go.

“He’s accepted that things are unlikely to change, particularly with his brother — who refuses to even properly talk with him,” said a source.

As Harry later explained to a friend, ‘I’m ready to move on past it. Whether we get an apology or accountability, who knows? Who really cares at this point?’”
