She made a surprise appearance at Wimbledon this week, but a subtle tribute to Archie in Meghan Markle’s outfit went unnoticed.

Meghan Markle made a surprise visit at Wimbledon this week and debuted an adorable necklace in tribute to baby Archie.

The new mum was spotted on Thursday on Court One during day four of the tennis championship, as she watched her friend Serena Williams play Kaja Juvan, The Sun reports.

The Duchess of Sussex, 37, wore an “A” necklace as she cheered on her friend at the famous tennis championships, in a subtle outfit detail that went unnoticed at the time.

Meghan appeared two days after the Duchess of Cambridge, Catherine Middleton, made a royal appearance at Wimbledon and shunned the Royal Box.

The glamorous duchess arrived in skinny jeans and stilettos, just two months after the birth of baby Archie Harrison.

Meghan was all smiles as she sported shades, a white $AU300 L’Agence jacket and a black top, and accessorised with $AU215 Finlay sunglasses and a trilby hat.

Fans went wild with excitement when they saw the sweet jewellery worn in honour of Meghan’s first born child.

One said: “Meghan’s necklace has a little ‘A’ charm on it!” and accompanied with a crying emoji.

The necklace is a personalised fine gold Love Letters necklace by Sydney-based Verse Fine Jewellery.

Verse Fine and designer esigner Emma Swann said she’d had “an avalanche of orders” for the necklace.

One of Meghan’s companions at the tennis was believed to be Lindsay Roth, one of baby Archie’s rumoured godparents, and another was thought to be friend, Genevieve Hillis.

Meghan is a close friend of Lindsay’s, and acted as maid of honour at her wedding in Greece in August 2016.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have released details about Archie’s christening, revealing the highly anticipated ceremony will take place tomorrow.

The new parents also announced they will release official photos from the day some time in the future.

The Archbishop of Canterbury will christen the royal baby at the Private Chapel in Windsor Castle, and the couple have asked photographer Chris Allerton to take pictures.

A statement, released by Buckingham Palace, reads: “Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor will be christened in a small private ceremony by the Archbishop of Canterbury in the Private Chapel at Windsor Castle on Saturday 6 July.

“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex look forward to sharing some images taken on the day by photographer Chris Allerton.

“The godparents, in keeping with their wishes, will remain private.”

The couple are determined to keep their son a “private citizen”, with sources confirming they plan a media-free baptism.

The service will only be witnessed by around 25 guests, the Daily Mail reported.
