The Bench started as a poem I wrote for my husband on Father’s Day, the month after Archie was born. That poem became this story,” Meghan said.

Meghan added, “Christian layered in beautiful and ethereal watercolour illustrations that capture the warmth, joy and comfort of the relationship between fathers and sons from all walks of life.

“This representation was particularly important to me and Christian and I worked closely to depict this special bond through an inclusive lens.

“My hope is that The Bench resonates with every family, no matter the make up, as much as it does with me.”

The Bench, which costs $24, will be released June 8.

It comes as the couple’s first child Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor is set to turn two tomorrow.

She also penned a powerful piece for the New York Times when she suffered a miscarriage last year.

Meghan and Harry are also busy producing content for their rumoured $190 million Netflix and Spotify deal, with their first project a docuseries about the Invictus Games, which Harry started in 2014.
