Meghan Markle wears $500 sundress to cheer on Prince Harry at the polo
MEGHAN Markle opted for a $500 sundress for a day out watching Prince Harry play polo.
MEGHAN Markle kept cool in the UK heat in a gingham sun dress by designer Shoshanna as she cheered on Prince Harry at a polo game over the weekend.
The Duchess of Sussex, 36, looked relaxed as she beamed in the sun, pairing her sleeveless dress with sandals, a white hat and sunnies.
Meghan was joined by close friend Serena Williams, who is set to make her comeback from maternity leave at Wimbledon next week, and her husband Alex Ohanian.
The Ashland sleeveless belted gingham eyelet midi A-line dress has open eyelet detailing, a spread collar and buttons down the front, with a cute bow tied around the waist.
The £299 ($A535) dress has currently sold out online on the Neiman Marcus website, and the company told the Sun Online they are unable to confirm if it will be restocked
Her brown, lace-up sandals are by designer Sarah Flint and are the Grear design which cost £185 ($A330).
Since tying the knot with Prince Harry, Meghan has only worn items by female designers or from a fashion house with a female working as head designer, and this look was no exception.
Designer Shoshanna Gruss launched her Shoshanna label in 1998 and hope to “create a women’s ready-to-wear collection that offered both support and flirty style.”
Meghan’s attendance today marked one year after she first publicly appeared as Prince Harry’s girlfriend.
The former Suits star — who started dating the royal in November 2016 — was pictured getting acquainted with Harry’s close friend Mark Dwyer and his wife.
Keen to impress, Meghan wore a rather formal long navy dress with a white blazer which hung over her shoulders.
The royal newlyweds are expected to make head off to Dublin for two-days in July, Kensington Palace said.
