Meghan Markle totes $9730 Chanel bag as Archie and Lilibet get royal titles
The Duchess of Sussex was seen in a chic all-designer outfit in LA as it was announced her two kids were now “prince” and “princess”.
Meghan Markle is rocking Chanel in royal style.
The Duchess of Sussex sported a sleek all-black look as she was photographed leaving an International Women’s Day event in West Hollywood on Wednesday, reports Page Six.
The rare public outing followed news that her children, Lilibet and Archie, are now using their royal titles.
Wearing a black ribbed top tucked into ankle-length trousers, Meghan, 41, was all smiles as she stepped out on the sunny day, adding luxe black-and-white accessories to her monochromatic look.
She carried a white Chanel 19 handbag with black stitching. Solid-coloured versions of the style retail for $9730.
The Duchess, who rocked a dark manicure and a tight bun, added white Valentino Garavani Rockstud mules ($1170), shading her eyes with oversized Valentino sunglasses ($553) and bundled up in a black Max Mara cashmere coat ($9100).
A rep for Prince Harry, 38, and Meghan told Page Six on Wednesday that their daughter, Lilibet Diana, was baptised last week, writing, “I can confirm that Princess Lilibet was christened on Friday, March 3, by the Archbishop of Los Angeles, the Reverend John Taylor.”
On Thursday, the children’s titles were updated on the royal family’s website, with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex writing in a statement that their “titles have been a birthright since their grandfather became monarch” and the “matter has been settled for some time in alignment with Buckingham Palace”.
