Meghan Markle, Prince Harry attend World Health Office in New York
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have hit the ground running since returning from parental leave, as the pair attended multiple meetings in New York.
Since they up and left the UK in search of a more peaceful life in California early last year, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have barely been spotted in public.
But in the last 24 hours alone, the duo have hit the ground running in a series of their first joint outings since Meghan gave birth to their second child, Lilibet Diana, in June.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently in New York, where they first attended the One World Trade Centre’s viewing deck to meet the NYC Mayor, Bill De Blasio, to pay tribute to 9/11 victims.
Later, they were spotted heading to the World Health Office, with the 40-year-old former actress sporting an all-black outfit and camel-coloured trench coat.
Upon their arrival in New York two nights ago, the Daily Mail obtained pictures of Meghan and Harry dining at Bemelmans Bar with their friends, fashion designer Misha Nonoo and her husband, Mikey Heiss.
Witnesses told the publication they were surrounded by up to 20 security guards as they drank cocktails and had dinner at the up-market establishment.
The pair are on a three-day work trip in the city, and are expected to broadcast live from Central Park for a Global Citizen Live event to promote the Covid vaccine on Saturday.
They are expected to return to California shortly afterwards.
It has been reported the parents have left their children, Archie, 2, and three-month-old Lilibet, at their Montecito home.
