Meghan Markle has requested one-on-one chat with King Charles, royal expert claims

A royal insider has revealed Meghan Markle has penned a bold request to England’s new monarch before she departs the UK with husband Harry.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ‘come across as quite whingy’

A royal insider has claimed Meghan Markle requested a “one-to-one meeting” with King Charles, assumedly about her and her husband’s position in the Royal family, before the couple departs home for the US.

Neil Sean, an entertainment reporter who has been a regular in the USA’s coverage of the royals, said a well-placed source revealed Markle sent a letter to the new monarch requesting a private chit-chat.

“She’d now like before they return back to California to have a one-to-one audience with King Charles III,” Neil Sean said in a recent Youtube video.

“That’s right, Meghan one-to-one with King Charles. You heard correct.

“It’s a very brave move from Meghan herself.”

Sean speculated over whether the request would either help or hinder the couple’s fractured relationship with the royals following years of controversy.

“It would be an opportunity to clear the air, pull the rights from wrongs and explain some of the rationale behind what they’ve been doing over the last two years,” he continued.

“Now, you know, you have to admire Meghan’s self-belief, whatever you think.

“Truthfully, we have no idea if this is going to go forward.”

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could lose Frogmore Cottage as King Charles debates what to do with royal residences up and down Britain.

Charles is set to deal with the palace merry-go-round as he decides firstly where he will live – and who will get the keys to other properties.

After ascending to the throne, King Charles is now essentially the landlord of a whole host of properties.

But it is understood the new King is not a fan of the vast palace and may simply use it as an office.

Reports say the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could be booted out of Frogmore Cottage following their permanent move to the US.

Harry and Meghan moved into the Georgian house in April 2019, a month before baby Archie was born and after extensive renovations were completed.

Their five-bedroom property — a gift from the Queen — was said to have required a “substantial overhaul” before they were able to move in, including new heating, wiring and utilities.

But less than a year later, the couple announced they would be stepping back from their duties as senior members of the Royal Family

They spent six weeks in Canada between November 2019 and January 2020 before settling down in the US.
