Meghan, Harry unfollow Kate and William on Instagram
Meghan and Harry have joined the anti-social network after they stopped following Kate and William on Instagram.
Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, isn’t going to double tap on Prince William and Kate’s Instagram content anytime soon.
According to the New York Post, Meghan and Harry’s official Instagram account, Sussex Royal, has unfollowed Kensington Royal, the account of their brother and sister-in-law. However, it appears William and Kate’s account is still following Meghan and Harry’s.
Meghan and Harry, who are expecting their first child any day now, announced on their account on Tuesday that their page would start highlighting mental health awareness accounts throughout the month of May because it’s Mental Health Awareness Month in the US — which would affect their following.
“Each month we will honour this same concept and change the accounts we solely follow based on a different theme or cause,” they wrote. “Please go to our homepage and click ‘following’ to see each of the select accounts and find out more about their work.”
Prince Harry, along with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, has always made mental health advocacy a priority. The trio previously launched Heads Together, an organisation dedicated to eliminating the stigma against mental health. While Kensington Royal didn’t make the cut, it appears Heads Together did.
