Kate Middleton stuns in green gown at London show

Kate Middleton has attended a glitzy event in London alongside Prince William, where she wore a jaw-dropping emerald green gown.

Travel secrets of the royal family revealed

Kate Middleton looked radiant in an ultra glamorous green gown as she and Prince William attended the Royal Variety Performance in London.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, both 39, attended the annual event at London’s Royal Albert Hall for the fourth time this evening, local time.

The mother-of-three donned a stunning long sleeve bejewelled emerald dress, while William wore a velvet blue tuxedo jacket with black trousers and a bow tie.

Kate’s floor-length dress was a recycled choice made by Jenny Packham – one of her favourite British designers.

It featured intricate beading, a cinch-waist built-in belt and padded shoulders.

The Duchess shunned her signature bouncy blow-dry and styled her hair in more exaggerated curls for the special occasion.

Prince William and Kate previously attended the event in 2014, 2017 and 2019, which is a televised variety show held annually in the UK to raise money for the Royal Variety Charity, of which Queen Elizabeth II is life-patron.

This year, the Royal Variety Performance marks 100 years of patronage from the reigning monarch, beginning with King George V in 1921.

The performance was filmed and will be shown on TV in the UK in December. It will then be broadcast around the world over the Christmas and New Year festive holidays.

Other famous names in attendance included Ed Sheeran, Sir Rod Stewart and James Blunt.

The Cambridge’s appearance came just hours after Meghan Markle’s televised interview with Ellen DeGeneres.

The fluffy interview opened rather awkwardly when Ellen introduced Meghan as “the Duchess of Sussex” while plugging her children’s book The Bench, to which Meghan let out a stifled giggle.

Elsewhere in the chat, Meghan said Harry “loves” living in California, while she also participated in Ellen’s signature pranks.
