Kate Middleton has put herself into self-isolation after coming into contact with a person who has tested positive with Covid-19.

The Daily Mail claims that the Duchess of Cambridge is “following all relevant government guidelines” and is currently self-isolating at home.

At this time, it is believed that she is not currently experiencing any symptoms.

Kensington Palace has not revealed where that specific contact was, however Kate was alerted on Friday afternoon local time, the publication claims.

The Duchess has already received her first and second Covid-19 vaccinations.

As for William, he is expected to undertake socially-distanced engagements throughout Monday (local time), and as of right now is not expected to isolate.

Both William and Kate were expected to lead celebrations for the 73rd anniversary of the NHS, which included a thanksgiving service at St Paul’s Cathedral.

Following that, they were due to host an afternoon tea at Buckingham Palace.
