Harry and Meghan’s new nanny signs ‘extensive’ non-disclosure agreement
Prince Harry and Meghan have finally chosen a nanny for baby Archie — but working for the royals comes with some very strict rules.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are very private when it comes to their personal lives, and so are likely to take great care when selecting staff.
And royal insiders claim that the nanny they have chosen to care for baby Archie Harrison has had to sign “extensive” non-disclosure agreements ahead of their employment, The Sun reports.
Royal biographer Katie Nicholl claims that Meghan’s mum Doria Ragland has now returned to her US home and professional care has now been enlisted.
She told ET: “I’ve heard from very reliable sources that the new nanny who has been appointed by the Sussexes has had to sign quite an extensive non-disclosure agreement.”
However, Katie was keen to add that although she may be hiring help, Meghan has been facing her fair share of sleepless nights.
She continued: “Meghan’s been up in the night nursing, feeding on demand every few hours.
“Apparently he’s a hungry little baby.”
Kensington Palace declined to comment.
Earlier this week a royal historian claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will hire a non-traditional nanny as recommended by her Hollywood friends.
The expert claims Meghan, 37, won’t follow Kate Middleton, 37, in hiring a Norland nanny to raise her child.
Victoria Howard told the Express: “I think they will look for someone who is obviously experienced, but that has more of a rounded attitude towards child rearing.
“I think they will look for things that will make them aware of mental health perhaps, encouraging creativity and for them to be themselves.
“So I definitely think it’s going to be non-traditional, maybe someone that has been recommended by some of their Hollywood friends perhaps.”
Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was born on May 6 and so far Meghan and Prince Harry haven’t relied on help in looking after the tot.
On whether the couple are likely to hire an American nanny, Victoria said: “It’s a possibility, but I think the likelihood is they will be British just because they are based in Britain.”
Meghan’s mum Doria Ragland, 62, flew over from Los Angeles to help look after the newest member of the royal family after the birth.
