Harry and Meghan should be stripped of titles after Netflix betrayal, poll says

Harry and Meghan should be stripped of their royal titles over their explosive Netflix docuseries, according to a poll.

Harry and Meghan's explosive new Netflix trailer

Prince Harry and Meghan should be banned from attending the King’s coronation next year after their Netflix betrayal, Brits declared yesterday.

According to an online poll conducted by The Sun, nine in ten believe the couple should also be stripped of their royal titles.

Harry’s latest bombshell claims that his brother William was a bully and his father Charles was a liar have sparked another severe backlash.

An online poll showed that 83 per cent of Sun readers want him and Meghan barred from seeing Charles being crowned king.

Just eight per cent believe they should be allowed to attend the Westminster Abbey service, which takes place on May 6 next year.

Even more damning, a whopping 93 per cent of readers think Harry and Meghan should be stripped of their titles, with only four per cent thinking they should keep them.

The couple were gifted their Duke and Duchess of Sussex titles by the late Queen on their wedding day in 2018.

Former royal head of security Dai Davies said the couple’s damaging claims on Netflix had torn the family apart and they should not be allowed at the abbey for the historic occasion.

“It would be extremely difficult, given the one-sided nature of what we have seen in this documentary,” he told The Sun.

“They have produced very little evidence to back up the claims they have made and the evidence they have produced has been light.

“There are huge discrepancies throughout the whole documentary.”

Mr Davies added that accusations of racism levelled against members of Harry’s family would be difficult to come back from.

“The issue of race has been used to bash the royal family and that is wrong. That’s a big issue,” he said.

More than 33,000 Sun readers had responded to the online poll by yesterday.
