The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have released a new photo of daughter Princess Charlotte to mark her 6th birthday.

Charlotte appears to be standing on a swing in the image, and the photo’s background looks similar to a photo the Cambridges shared in June to mark William’s 38th birthday.

Social media has lit up since the image was shared this morning, with many declaring Charlotte was “so grown up”. Others noted her hair appears to be lighter than in previous birthday snaps.
“Omg she is all grown up and sooo blonde. Such a beautiful little lady! She is definitely her dad’s mini me,” one wrote.
“She is absolutely adorable. Happiest birthday Princess Charlotte,” another said.
“Wow, so grown up! You can see the young lady she will become,” someone else stated.
While one royal fan wrote: “6 years flies by...look at this little lady ...just beautiful.”
Last year, Charlotte’s birthday images showed her delivering food packages to high-risk people self-isolating due to the coronavirus pandemic.
