‘Bruised’: Meghan Markle ‘not doing well’ after Vanity Fair expose

Meghan “isn’t doing well” amid “nasty” new claims made about her, and reports it was Netflix who delayed her show – not her.

Vanity Fair does ‘huge take-down’ of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly “not in a good place” following the release of the shocking tell-all Vanity Fair article.

The publication dropped an 8,000-word article with a series of explosive, unflattering allegations, made by “dozens of people who have worked with and lived alongside the couple” and “over many months”.

Meghan and Harry are believed to have been left “upset and bruised,” according to Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield.

“It is my understanding that they are upset over it [and] I’m being told that things aren’t good for them right now,” she told Sky News. “Between Meghan’s show being postponed, which I’ve heard was Netflix’s idea, and just the idea that she has worked so hard to rebrand herself and here comes a very respected publication reiterating some of the nastiest claims about her.”

She added: “So I think they are bruised and they’re sitting back trying to figure out how to process going forward.”

Meghan was portrayed as a ruthless boss, with one staffer revealing they had not believed previous bullying claims about her – but quickly changed her mind after being hired, admitting it could happen “any given Tuesday”.

Another ex-staffer compared Meghan to a “Mean Girls teenager”, and described working on her Archetypes podcast as “really, really awful” and “very painful”.

Others described “taking extended breaks” to “escape scrutiny” or “undergoing long-term therapy” after working with her.

However, one claim has since been debunked.

The article claimed Meghan had quietly held talks with an unnamed publishing house to “gauge interest” in the idea for a post-divorce book.

However, a source who has worked closely with the couple told Page Six, “Meghan and Harry know that they are tied together, their value is in being a couple — even if they wanted to split, they couldn’t. And honestly, they are obsessed with each other. They are just two narcissists.”

Another insider familiar with the original $US20 million Penguin Random House deal the two signed in 2021 said they had never heard anything about a divorce book.

However, it does appear the highly-publicised deal — which, as we previously reported, was originally believed to include books on “leadership” and “wellness” — seems to have quietly dissipated after Harry’s best-selling memoir, Spare.
