AN AUSTRALIAN Robin Williams fan has built an awesome tribute to the characters made famous by the comedian ... all out of Lego.
Jay Ong, from Warragul in country Victoria, was so devastated by the comedian’s tragic death, he felt compelled to immortalise him in the famous coloured bricks.
“I was pretty devastated when I heard the news, as soon as I got home from work I rummaged through my Lego collection to see what I could do to recreate some of my favourite Robin Williams characters,” he told news.com.au.
“I’ve got a decent sized collection of Lego, it’s just a matter of picking out the right parts and iconic characters”.

Mr Ong posted the tribute on his blog, writing: “I felt like it was the least that I could do, to immortalise his likeness and pay tribute to a very special actor, and entertainer. These movies will forever have a special place in my heart.”
Yesterday, it was revealed Williams took his own life at his San Francisco Bay Area home but did not leave a suicide note, sheriff’s officials said.
