Ricki Lee-Coulter sets the record straight on her honeymoon: ‘My husband Rich, is not a Personal Trainer’

AN angry Ricki-Lee Coulter has lashed out while on her French Riviera honeymoon, to set the record straight about her new husband.

NEWLYWED Ricki-Lee Coulter has checked out from being on Cloud Nine to set the record straight about her new husband.

The 29-year-old singer’s weight loss journey has been a hot topic since she was discovered years ago on Australian Idol.

The singer, who recently tied the knot with her husband Richard Harrison, has taken time out from her magical French Riviera honeymoon, after she reached boiling point about the longhead speculation that Harrison is a personal trainer.

“There is a common misconception that has been going on for six years now ... and I feel like if I don’t say something, it will continue forever. My husband Rich, is not a Personal Trainer — he is my manager. And he has been since 2010,” she vented on Instagram.

Travelling down memory lane, she shot down rumours that she met her now-hubby in a personal training studio. “We met in 2009 in a bar in Melbourne at 1am & I was standing on a table sculling a jug of beer ... cos that’s the kind of classy girl I am! Ha ha,” she recalled.

She stressed that Harrison’s role was as her manager.

“It’s a huge job with so many moving parts & everything he does behind the scenes makes it possible for me to have the freedom to do what I want as an artist and focus on being the best I can be. And on top of all that ... I can’t even begin to explain how much he motivates and inspires me creatively very single day,” she said.

The infuriated newlywed concluded: “Rich is my manager. And a great manager at that with a great reputation in this business. I’d like him to get the credit he deserves.”

A grateful Harrison responded via Black Label Entertainment, with an image from their wedding day captioned: “I love her heart and soul. We always have each other’s back.”

The Aussie singer is far from shy in using social media as an outlet in making sure credit is given, where credit is due. Earlier this year, Coulter addressed comments on Instagram implying luck had been on her inside in obtaining her slim figure.

She protested: “I’m not one of those girls who is naturally thin and can eat whatever I want. I am consistent with the food I eat day in day out and I work my ass off in the gym ... literally!”

“I go through phases where I let go a little bit and relax my training and indulge in my guilty pleasures more than usual ... we all do! And I think it’s good for the soul to do that. But for the most part, my life is routine. I eat the same clean foods every day, I train hard six days a week and don’t drink alcohol regularly. I plan my ‘cheat meals’ and work hard to earn them and I savour every mouthful! And then I’m sweating it off the next day in the gym.”

After she decided to make a change to her diet, she wrote: “Six years ago, I decided to make a change ... I wanted to get healthy and be fitter than I’d ever been and I am so proud of myself for sticking to it and getting there despite all the nay-sayers. There were, and still are a lot of people that don’t understand why — and hate on me for changing, but I don’t care because I made those decisions for me and me only ... and it’s only made my life better.”

Coulter and Harrison got married earlier this month in a private ceremony in Paris. They are now enjoying France’s finest foods and luxurious hot spots on an extended French Riviera honeymoon.
