Rex Orange County accused of six counts of sexual assault
Popular British singer Rex Orange County has been accused of multiple sexual assaults in London, as he fronted court denying all charges.
British singer Rex Orange County allegedly sexually assaulted a woman in a taxi and at his London home, a court has heard.
The musician, whose real name is Alexander O’Connor, appeared at Southwark Crown Court today charged with six counts of sexual assault, The Sun reports.
The 24-year-old has denied all charges. A provisional trial date has been set for January 3.

O’Connor is alleged to have twice assaulted the woman, who is aged over 16, in the West End on June 1, the court heard.
He then allegedly assaulted her in a taxi and three further times at his home in Notting Hill the following day.
O‘Connor was unconditionally bailed ahead of the three-day trial.
The singer rose to prominence in 2017 when he featured on Tyler, the Creator’s Grammy-nominated album Flower Boy.
He has released three studio albums and a live album.
O’Connor attended the prestigious BRIT School, which counts Adele, Amy Winehouse, Leona Lewis and actor Tom Holland among its alumni.
A representative for the singer said: “Alex is shocked by the allegations which he denies and looks forward to clearing his name in court.
“He is unable to make any further comment because of the ongoing proceedings.”
