Rebel Wilson claims Hollywood star has ‘threatened’ her over tell-all memoir

Rebel Wilson is gearing up to release a tell-all memoir, and some stars are allegedly unhappy about it.

Rebel Wilson has claimed a Hollywood star has “threatened” her after she revealed plans to call out his behaviour in her new book.

The actress revealed she has dedicated a whole chapter in her book to the “massive a**hole” she worked with in Hollywood.

After the 44-year-old claimed she will name the star in her book, she’s now shared that the “a**hole” in question has hired lawyers to “threaten” her.

“Now the a**hole is trying to threaten me. He’s hired a crisis PR manager and lawyers. He’s trying to stop press coming out about my new book,” she wrote in an Instagram story. “But the book WILL come out and you will all know the truth.”

Speaking about the chapter in her book previously, the Aussie comedian revealed that working with the yet to be named star forced her to adopt a “no a**holes” policy going forward when it came to taking jobs.

“When I first came to Hollywood, people were like, ‘Yeah, I have a no-a**holes policy that means, like, I don’t work with a**holes’. I was like, ‘Yeah, I mean, that sounds sensible and logical.’”

She continued: “But then it really sunk in what they were meaning by that, older people in the industry. Because I worked with a massive a**hole, and, yeah, now I definitely have a a**holes policy. Chapter on said a**hole – it is chapter 23, that guy was a massive a**hole.”

Meanwhile, Wilson recently shared her regret about re-gaining weight after working hard to get into shape.

In a relatable Instagram post, the actress said she was disappointed in herself for gaining 14kg after working so hard in the last two years to lose more than 30kg.

But juggling work, life and a new baby – they welcomed daughter Royce in November 2022 – the struggle was just too real.

“Working really hard has meant that, coz of all the stress, I’ve gained 14kg’s (30 pounds)! It makes me feel bad about myself … it shouldn’t … but it does,” she wrote.

“I’m really proud of the work I’ve been doing on new movies and my memoir, it’s just been a LOT and I’ve lost focus on my healthy lifestyle. Anyone else going through the same thing?”
