Rebel Wilson announces engagement to Ramona Agruma: ‘We said yes!’
The Pitch Perfect star and her girlfriend, Ramona Agruma, are set to tie the knot after a “magical” proposal at Disneyland.
Rebel Wilson has announced her engagement to partner Ramona Agruma.
The Australian actress shared the exciting news in an Instagram post, which featured two pictures of the “magical” proposal.
“We said YES! Thank you @tiffanyandco for the stunning ring and to Bob Iger and the incredible team at Disneyland @disneyweddings for pulling off this magical surprise!” Wilson wrote.
In the pictures, the women can be seen wearing matching pink and white striped jumpers featuring a black hear. One of the images shows them sharing a kiss and displaying a diamond ring while in the other, they’re smiling happily in front of Sleeping Beauty’s castle.
Wilson and Agruma first revealed they were in a relationship in June last year.
Wilson’s close friend Hugh Sheridan revealed that month that he’d played matchmaker in pairing the couple with each other.
“I’m a bit of a matchmaker in my spare time, I like to set people up and I’ve got a very good success rate. A few marriages in there,” he boasted.
He said he was inspired to match the two when Wilson confessed to him that she’d never been in love.
“But then I just had this thought that maybe I’m looking in the wrong spot. I think a woman who’s that successful needs a very strong man … But a woman with a woman who’s successful, maybe they’d just lift each other up,” Sheridan explained.
“Then I thought of Ramona straight away.”
In November, Wilson announced the birth of her first child with an adorable picture of the newborn on Instagram.
Her daughter was born by surrogate.
