Pete Davidson roasts Kanye West in Netflix comedy show
After being targeted by Kanye in a series of Instagram attacks, Pete Davidson has finally gotten his revenge with a searing onstage take-down.
Pete Davidson is reigniting his feud with Kanye West.
The comedian, 28, addressed his ongoing conflict with Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband in a stand-up show titled Pete Davidson Presents: The Best Friends which was filmed in April.
The special is being featured in Netflix is a Joke: The Festival and the streaming service released a few clips on Saturday.
In one scene, the Saturday Night Live star presented the crowd with a question, drawing comparisons between West and Mrs. Doubtfire.
“Does anybody else secretly hope that Kanye pulls, like, a Mrs. Doubtfire?” Davidson said. “I come home one day and they’re like, ‘This is the new housekeeper.’ And he’s like, ‘What’s up fam!’”
During the set, Davidson admitted that the very public feud between himself and West had been “a really weird thing to go through”.
“People try to give you advice but even friends that are older than me are like, ‘I don’t know. He looks pretty mad, bro. Good luck! Sorry. Here if you need’,” he joked.
Davidson also roasted West for accusing him of having AIDS in an Instagram post earlier this year.
“I had an AIDS scare this year. Yeah, I did. And you’re like, ‘Pete, Wow. What’s going on in your life? Are you sharing needles? You’re doing heroin? You have tons of unprotected sex?” Davidson started.
“No, Kanye told me I had AIDS and he’s a genius. I was like, ‘Oh f**k.’ I better call my doctor. The guy who made College Dropout thinks I have AIDS.”
Davidson said he went to get checked for the sexually transmitted disease and it “turns out I don’t have AIDS. I just look like I have it.”
He added that his SNL co-star John Mulaney had encouraged him to “spread a rumour that (West) has polio”, in a clear jab about the outdated nature of the rapper’s insult.
West and Davidson have had a public battle, which has been broadcast across social media ever since he started dating Kardashian last year.
The reality TV star first made their relationship Instagram official in March when she posted several photos with Davidson.
In February, West called out Davidson over using his mental health as a joke on SNL.
West once again took to Instagram to defend his social media posts coming after Davidson. He called it “payback” while sharing a resurfaced SNL clip of the comedian performing a skit while wearing a red MAGA-style hat altered to read “MAKE KANYE 2006 AGAIN.”
“HI SKETE YOU GOT ANYMORE MENTAL HEALTH JOKES FOR ME?” West wrote in the post’s caption, which has since been deleted.
Representatives for West did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.
