Osher Gunsberg engaged after romantic beach proposal to Audrey Griffen

OSHER Gunsberg is a bachelor no more. The TV host has proposed to girlfriend Audrey Griffen in true summer style.

OSHER Gunsberg is a bachelor no more, with the TV host proposing to girlfriend Audrey Griffen.

The 42-year-old announced the news on Instagram yesterday, posting a photo of himself with his makeup artist bride-to-be who was sporting an engagement ring.

He also shared a close up of the large sapphire and diamond jewellery and revealed Daniel Macpherson’s mother helped him orchestrate the romantic proposal.

“On Thursday afternoon I managed to retrieve the ring from where it had been hiding in my camera bag over the last five weeks and slipped it on Audrey’s finger as the sun set over the Pacific,” he wrote on Instagram. Gunsberg went on to say he “couldn’t be happier to have found Griffen, who he met through work and has been dating for almost a year.

“ ... Even though it took me a while, Audrey had great patience and allowed me to go at my own pace and approach carefully ... until I felt everything inside start working again and woke up one morning finding that I was in love with this wonderful woman.”

He also made mention of Griffen’s daughter, saying he couldn’t be more happy to commit to her as well.

The pair also took time out over the New Year to visit Fiji, where Gunsberg got to know Griffen’s family.

It won’t be the first wedding for the TV personality formerly known as Andrew G, who ended his three-year marriage to Israeli actor Noa Tishby in 2011.
